- We will be assigning uniforms on the 2nd day of camp, and we will be taking fall program and newspaper pictures on the 7th.
- Lunch will be provided by the music boosters on the 7th. On the other days kids have an hour for lunch, giving them plenty of time to go home, go somewhere in town, or bring a lunch and eat it at school.
- Everyone should bring their instrument, the music they got in May (8 different songs on colored paper), water, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, socks and marching shoes. Freshman will have marching shoes ready to be picked up on the first morning of camp.
- The ice cream truck is coming Monday at the end of camp, kids should bring $ for that if they want.
- One small change in the events on the camp schedule, the water fight march off will be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. It’s a good way to end camp. =)
- We will be holding most of our camp in Court C of the high school gym and on the football practice fields. Students should park or get dropped off in the back and come in the back door to Court C. This is primarily because we can’t fit the whole band in the band room at the same time. Last year it was because we had mold in the band room, but it ended up being a great place to hold camp. =)
- We are looking for parents to help sort and distribute uniforms, if you’re interested in doing that let me know and I’ll get you in touch with our uniform crew.
All members (except junior and senior football players) should be at band camp all 3 days. August 5, 6, 7 from 9-3:30 every day.
